Food Preparation

This week was spent cooking and packing food - lots of it.
Thus far the menu for Iditarod includes~

Special for Rohn -  cocacola cake, shepherd's pie, moose strogonoff, rotini noodles with moose spaghetti sauce, quinoa, and oatmeal molasses cookies.

Special for Martin - tenderloin steak, dried apricots, nuts, Swiss Chocolate and poppyseed cake.

Both guys get - dried mangos (the happiness fruit), corn, peas, gummy bears, pasta, rice, pringles, shrimp, parmesan cheese.

And then for the dogs, Saturday was spent vacuum packing 8 lbs bags of Eagle Dog Food.  Thanks Sue Allen, Matt and Craig for the help.  We missed Rich - another "first," food packing without him.

Kent Harrington came out to groom trails but he pouring rain prohibited that.  Thanks Kent for packing food instead.  Now we have 4000 lbs of Eagle ready for the trail.
